How to build resilience and wellbeing at schools?

There are free online resources available via the Black Dog Institute website aimed at increasing understanding of resilience and developing useful resilience-building strategies at schools, including:

  • mindfulness meditation
  • taming your emotions
  • identifying and using your strengths
  • problem solving.

The MindStrength courses are short interactive modules, which are suitable for young people (14-16 years), their parents and carers who want to boost their resilience. Sign up to MindStrength to start learning how to be more resilient and improve resilience of young people.

To find out about offering mindfulness meditation at your school contact The Wellness Union for further info.
