About Us wellness union

Diane founded The Wellness Union in Jan 2013 as Corporate Yoga Melbourne, and officially rebranded in July 2017 to The Wellness Union. Same exceptional service - offering a wider range of wellness programs to companies and schools Australia wide!   Diane's journey in wellness first began over 15 years ago when she took up the practice of yoga after experiencing lower back pain. She quickly realised many health benefits, along with improved back pain. She commenced her first teacher training in April 2011 - completing an Advanced Diploma. Along the years Diane also took up a great interest in meditation and has practiced many styles deepening her training and experience. Meditation is a particular area Diane is very passionate about sharing with her students. “When I first started yoga and meditation it was for the physical benefits, but over the years the more I practiced, I gained balance in my life and yoga has taught me to be mindful and completely myself.”

    Erica
The first time Erica practiced yoga, she did not enjoy it at all. She was expecting something easy and relaxing - and it definitely wasn’t! But there is a time and a place for everything, and Erica found yoga again a few years later and hasn’t looked back since. “At first I was looking for something to help me stay active yet be gentle on my injuries. What I didn’t realise at the time was that my mind, body, and soul were aching for something to unite them. Once I found yoga, everything started coming together.”
Erica completed her training in 2015 with CorePower Yoga in the U.S. She teaches a variety of styles, and loves the diversity of her students. “The best part about teaching is seeing people come to the mat wanting to care for themselves. I encourage my students to leave their doubts and expectations at the door; it doesn’t matter what your body can or can’t do, what shape you are, if you’ve never practiced yoga or have practiced a million times. All that matters is that you’re there and willing to try.”
In her free time you can find Erica exploring new places, petting other people’s dogs, and soaking up the sun with a good book.
